January 10, 2013 - Day 10

7:30 am

So... last night I decided to take a nap around 6:30 pm.

I woke up about 12 hours later (not including the four or five times I woke up only to fall back asleep).

I was in a pissy mood last night. Still pissy this morning... I'm sick of Vancouver and the lack of life here.

But, this blog is about weightloss, not about "no fun" city.

Day 10 is starting OK. I'm hungry -- mostly because I didn't eat last night. I did dream about pizza and considered a can of tuna before my sleep marathon. But no need now.

I'm low on juice, so I've got to get some veggies and do some juicing. I'm working freelance today with a deadline tomorrow. But I still hope to get to Granville Island for a wider selection of fruits and veggies.

I might have a treat of some sort tomorrow - say a sushi lunch. But the juicing will continue for another 10 days. The past 10 wasn't that hard at all. Having zero social life definitely helps.

MIDDAY UPDATE:

I had desk work to do, so I haven't ventured out into the sun (still cold) today. But I did notice in between working, making juice and doing laundry that my hip pain disappeared. None. At. All.

I was able to go up and down the stairs between my room and the laundry room (3 floors) with zero pain.

Now, I don't for a minute think that 10 days of juicing has eliminated my hip (IT band) pain. And I know it will be back. But, normally the hip hurts like hell when I sit for long periods. Not today. Not yet, anyway.

I also wonder what I weigh. I'm sure my face is thinner. But maybe that's wishful thinking?

Whatever. Day 10 and all is good!
