I'm not going to post daily, as there isn't much point. But I will update on at least a weekly basis. I'm also going to have to find a scale!
Anyway, today is Day 2. I slept like a log and I'm currently enjoying carrot juice and coffee (although not together).
I made it through Day 1 almost unscathed. I did feel the need to chew (gum has been suggested). But alcohol is another issue. There were two ciders in my fridge... and, while watching a movie, I decided to get rid of them. By drinking them!
It was easy to justify: they're liquid and apple flavoured... that's on program, right?
Wrong.
So the problems with the juice diet are not only switching to a liquid intake and changing the food you consume -- but also dropping alcohol and coffee.
I can't do that all at once. Sorry.
My plan is to not have booze at home. If I go out and someone offers a beer, fine. But I won't drink at home. Later, I'll cut back on the coffee -- if I even need to. I'm sure my body will tell me.
Today is a test because it's a work day. I'm taking some juice with me, and at lunch I'll go for a walk and eschew my regular feed of sushi.
And so it goes...
